VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Like so many wonderful community events, Gray Sky Blues Music Festival is dependent on the generosity of volunteers. Without the enthusiasm, energy and dedication of volunteers like you, the Tacoma Events Commission couldn't continue to offer world-class, family-oriented entertainment events.

Won't you volunteer a few hours of your time to make this event, now in its tenth year, a success?

Please contact Gary Grape at 253-507-9357 or email him at gwgrape47@comcast.net for more information.

While you're volunteering, you'll enjoy some of the best blues west of the Mississippi! Sign up today!

United by Music North America

United by Music North America performs year 'round and worldwide! Known for high-energy uplifting music, the band received the prestigious 2016 Muddy Award for Best Event for the DME Blues Brunch series presented during their Waterfront Blues Festival activities, by the group's producing artistic director and co-founder, Amanda Gresham. "On tap" for this festival performance will be national award-winning UBMNA mentor Ben Rice, as well as pro musician mentors Dave Fleschner (UBMNA md) and Willy Straub. UBMNA program ambassador artist Nick Baker will provide a short set during the program.

United by Music North America had been selected by national Special Olympics organizing committee to perform during the 2018 USA Games, including the Torch Lighting at Opening Ceremonies in UW Husky Stadium.

Pat Nagle, Harmon Brewing Co. owner, will introduce UBMNA for this, their first full band show in Tacoma! Visit www.UBMNA.org to see how YOU can be a part of this project!

Featuring

Howlin’ Dogma

The Swiss Restaurant and Pub - 7:30 PM

Howlin' Dogma

This isn’t your typical “Retro” type blues band. We’re not trying to recreate anything. We picked it where we found it, and are taking it with us everywhere we go. Rock’n Blues Music! We pride ourselves in playing “Dance Music”. The kind that all different generations can get together and dance to. Music, of the people, by the people. and for the people. AMERICAN MUSIC!

Howlin Dogma are past winners of the AMMA (American), in 2008, and GMMA (Global), in 2009, Best Blues song of the year, for our song "Toke Of Rhythm".
